I'm glad I didn't listen to some of the other reviews that said to size up. IMO, these fit true to size. They are meant to fit tight, but don't feel uncomfortably so. The waist is firmer than other leggings from athleta, but I believe it is to prevent slipping. These leggings are definitely meant for more intense exercise rather than lounging or yoga, and will serve me well for running or HIIT!

I'm 5 4" & 135-140lbs (w long legs and a short torso) These are a tighter fit, however they don't budge at all during a workout. My butt is a little bigger and have moderately wider hips and they fit perfectly. I'm obsessed with the high low ankle fit.
