This is exactly what I've been looking for…I live in a large city where I'm out and about walking most days. I need clothes that are as cool and comfortable as shorts but not shorts! This dress is perfect! The fabric is smooth , holds its shape, and doesn't cling. I bought all 4 colors and washed on...e to compare for shrinkage- no shrinkage! Hung it to dry as per the instructions and it dried in 4 hours with no wrinkles! Will be wearing it casually as pictured and also with sandals and a jacket. Runs true to size. I'm 5'6" ,115 lbs and bought a S. The length is about 1-2" above my knee.

I have this dress in black, blue, and grey. I am usually a Small, sometimes XS. But the small in this dress was way too clingy in all the wrong places. At 5'3", the small length was OK. The medium is a better fit, but is too long, hitting mid-knee. Wish it came in petite (at the time of this review,... there is only rose color in petite). I like the quality enough that I'll probably keep and spend the extra $ to have them hemmed.

This dress is truly "Essential." Very comfortable, versatile and great for traveling. The fabric is soft and launders well too. The dress is the easy Go To piece. You can't go wrong and with easy styling for any activity and looks great. I love it and have in several colors. I'm 5'6" and purchased my usual size small and it is true to size and it's not too short.

I'm 5'3/118 lbs. I bought the regular Small & it fits just above my knees. A petite would have come a couple inches or more above my knees which would have been fine, but after reading some reviews some said it was too short. Overall, I like the fit of it & the small wasn't too snug but just right. It looks great with sneakers & dressed up with a denim jacket. I see myself wearing this a lot!
