When I saw that Athleta had redesigned these tanks I was nervous to order one. We have these in multiple colors for my girls and have ordered them for many years - they are a favorite. I ordered this for my youngest in a size 12 (same size as the ones she currently has) and it was loose in the body ...and looks strange at the top - so disappointing.

My daughter LOVED the old style! So much so, that she has 5 in different colors. She hates the new style. The new style is just awful. The fit/cut of the shirt is different, not in a good way. The fabric is also very different. It's thicker- who wants that in the summer?? She's about to turn 12 but tiny, still wearing size medium. Finding shirts to fit her tiny frame isn't easy. These were her go to shirts. She's so disappointed.

My daughter is a fairly skinny and fit long torso 9 year old. This fits her well and hits at or just a bit below her waistband. She wishes it was shorter but she'll grow. I appreciate the quality and lasts from kid to kid so when it's on sale I can feel ok spending as much.
