These pants fit and feel great. I am partial to wide leg pants in general and these meet my expectations for being comfortable without looking baggy. The material is soft with plenty of stretch, but they keep their shape. They are a true "high rise" with enough stretch in the waist to keep from digging in. They are true to size...for reference I am 5'5" 168lbs and I am normally a size 14 pant or a size Large in the Venice wide leg. The regular length was perfect for either a flat sandal or a low heel. I wish these came in all the colors that the Skyline Barrel came in - I'd buy every color!

I'm literally wearing these all summer. They are the perfect summer pant. You can dress them up and down. I wear them with heels and sneakers. The fit skims the body and fits very straight. It's fitted on the waist but not tight. There's plenty of give and it doesn't wrinkle. It dries quickly and is definitely machine washable. I have the black and green but wish this came in additional colors like the barrel fit.

Love these pants! Love the material, fit, color (olive) and overall look! They are more fitted at the waist and many reviews said to size up. I find Athleta over the years has gotten bigger in general. Im usually a 2-4. (Small). The other issue Ive always had with Athleta is they are super roomy in the hips, stick out whether it has pockets or not. Most of their bottoms (minus leggings) are constructed with extra fabric in the outer hips and like a "sewed" outward curve. Its super frustrating! (Which is why I don't understand why everyone is pocket obsessed!) For these pants, the 4 was too big on me, sat too low, and really stuck out - like the horseshoe/barrel trend, but at my hips! Although I didn't mind it sitting lower on my waist, the extra hip fabric looked terrible. I got the 2 (long), my size, and it fit much better! Still too much hip fabric, but that's a built in problem with Athleta. Ironically, I also purchased the shorts version of this style, multiple colors, and the size 2 fit, but was a tad too snug and I prefer the 4 in the shorts much more. Pants 2, Shorts 4. Why its different I have no idea! The best way I can describe this style of pants to help in what size to order is the waist is a fitted high waist/natural waistline (the curve/dip right below ribs) it is a zipper with the hook and bar closure. So there really is no give, and doesn't really loosen as the day goes on. The rest of the pant is relaxed and slouchy. So depending on how your waist is shaped, and how you like the feel of things at waist, would dictate if you go TTS or order a size up. Women will understand this description: it may fit and feel ok standing up, first thing in the AM, but when you sit, it cuts into waist a little too much, pushes us into a lower pooch and isnt as comfortable. I am 5'7"-5'8", the Reg weren't long enough for me, especially for the look of pant. The long are great. A tad long with a flat, but I like the flooded/to the ground.

As a tall person, these are super flattering and cute. My favorite pants, I am writing this review in hopes Athleta brings them back in colors other than white (appears there aren't any sizes in white either). I have black and olive green and would buy them both again.

I wanted to like these, but they just weren't flattering on me. I liked the weight and stretch of the material and was hoping they would work because they'd make an excelling pant for travel. However, the way the front of the pant lay on my body was not attractive. The crotch hit too low and it pooched at the crotch as well. I'm 5'1" 154 lbs with a relatively short rise and a bit of a belly. It might work better for someone with either a longer rise or a flatter belly.

These are the most comfortable, most flattering pants I own! I'm almost embarrassed to admit I now have nearly every color of the skyline barrel and have been anxiously awaiting a restock on the wide leg. Regretting that I didn't buy all colors in those as well. I have to force myself to grab a different pair of pants just to change it up but I'd rather be wearing a skyline! I'm quite surprised by how flattering they are on my frame as I'm not an easy fit. I'm 5'0 and 138, short torso with wider hips and a little meno belly. Can't tell you how the work so well but they do! In the wide leg the 8P is perfect length. For the barrel, the petite is the perfect length for ankle but the regular hits the top of my shoe so both R and P work well depending on the season. Athleta, PLEASE restock the black wide leg and add more colors. I only have the olive which is my least favorite.

I already owned two pairs of the Skyline Barrel Pant, so I was so excited when a wide leg was released as well! They fit just like my barrel pants, are so flattering, and so comfortable. I travel a lot and they're the most comfortable pants to sit in for hours without looking like sweatpants.
