Not a true barrel pant, these are more of a wide leg. They also run big. I bought my normal size and the waist band runs big. The whole pant as a hole feels very roomy. I'm a 27/28 and even with the help of the drawstring, still feels loose. I appreciate the zipper on the pockets and that they're concealed, gives it a cleaner look. Fabric is somewhat thin. Returning because I wanted a barrel fit.

Very happy with these pants. I'm a few inches taller than the 5'2" recommended petite pants but bought them anyway for a more cropped look. Good choice. Pants are very well made. Nice heavier weight for a good flow, zippered pockets. I recommend.

If you are petite 5ft 90 lbs and ANY of friends say these pants look good on you, ban them for life. The legs dont loo anything like the photo. The pant leg is so wide it looks utterly ridiculous on a small thin frame. FOR REF: Im 5ft. 91 lbs I bought xxs pet and it looks ridiculous. The super wide leg and narrow bottom just do not flatter a petite person's frame. The pants should be a little more tapered to fit a petite frame properly. Utterly ridiculous fit & purchase.
