These high rise flare pants are awesome! I have them in almost all the colors. They are so flattering on. They are slim through the waist and thighs, and then a gentle flare at the bottom. It is slimming and a nice balance. Straight leg leggings do not give you that flattering look.

I love Athleya although these pants were not right for me. I went to a large and I usually wear a small and they just didn't look right. I think they would be great for a very thin person.

Love these leggings, like all of my Athleta leggings, but they do run smaller (tighter) than the normal Athleta High Rise Elation Leggings (i.e. non-flare leggings, e.g. the 7/8 leggings or full length leggings). I have lost an itty bitty amount of weight recently, so I am keeping them, but if I hadn't lost weight, I would guess they are almost a size smaller than the regular leggings, i.e. if you are a L normally, I might consider ordering a size up to XL, or you may have to consider wearing them only when you're having a "skinny day". I am tall, 5'8, with long legs, and the regular length fit me best, so I would have to agree with all of the ladies who said they run long. Are they soft as butter as usual? yes. Do they make you look like a goddess? yes. Should you buy 'em? yes.

Fits well and is well made. I ordered the long, which for me, at 6'1" is a major plus. I will buy more colors!
