Like the straight leg pants (that became 2.0 and styling changed) so has the flare pants. Now the flare pants say "Mini" in the pant and on the tag when you receive them BUT when you order them online nowhere does it say "mini" or that they are a new updated styling. These are now super tight in the upper leg and bunch up behind the knees before flaring out. Going to return. I loved the former styling. These are horrible. For me anyway. If you are going to update your styling that is your choice and others may even like it but you should do the right thing and state that online and describe the change (slimmer at top before the knee, etc, etc). But not doing that and acting like they are the same is sneaky and deceptive. Especially when there is clearly a name change to "Mini".

I agree with all the comments saying how these flared leggings are not the same style, fabric, or cut of my previous flared leggings from Athleta. These new ones are way too tapered around the knees and calves and don't have much flare to them at all. Unfortunately I will definitely be returning them.

I have three pair of these and love all of them. I see others are not happy with the "change" in fit, but I do not agree! They are just like my others, which are the same style, size, and material. I love them!

I've purchased five pairs of these pants in the past and absolutely loved them. Unfortunately, the style has completely changed. The fit is different, and they now bunch up behind the knees in a way the previous versions never did. They're just not comfortable or flattering as before. Really disappointed that the design was altered without any notice.

The sizing is not right on these pants. I ordered the flare style in my usual size medium. Way too tight. I decided to return and not fool around with attempting to find a larger size.
