I am 5ft 8 and 130lbs. 47 year old mom of three. I wear 28 L in several styles of Gap jeans. Typical high waist bottoms come just below my belly button. These were on clearance I ordered pink in medium and black in small. Med comes over my bellybutton by 1/2 inch and feel loose in crotch and butt ...slightly bunchy but stays put in water better then expected. Small are tighter in hip, crotch, and butt however they feel more supportive in the tummy area and are slightly lower. Ive decided to keep both even tho I am in between sizes. Overall good quality nice material and def cheeky.
I love a good high-waisted, full seat coverage swim bottom.... this is NOT it despite the description. The seat coverage is medium at most, and really should be described as cheeky. The front of the suit is also cut to narrow in my opinion, showing rolls in the groin area that frankly I didn't even ...know I had. I will be returning these and reordering swimwear this season for my teen daughter and I elsewhere. Super disappointing.

These bottoms are so great! I took a chance and ordered them in a large. I loved them so much I ordered a second color. Yes they are cheeky but I think they're mom cheeky not teenager cheeky. As usual for Athleta amazing quality. They fit true to size.

I love these bottoms. I have two pairs. It covers all the parts of my stomach I don't want to show and is high cut so it doesn't cut off circulation at my thighs but not so high cut that it looks inappropriate. I am not stick thin- I have a waist and hips and get tons of compliments on this suit.
