Got this tank from Athleta because I'm obsessed with the Ebb to Street tank but hate how it snags. To compare, this definitely runs larger. I got a medium, which works okay, but probably should have gotten a small. The straps are pretty long so it isn't as supportive in the chest as it would be if t...hey were shorter - not sure if this would still be the case if I sized down. Overall, it is very comfortable and I like it - it will work well for barre. If I try it again, I'll definitely size down. The purple color is very nice. I'm 5'8", 150 lbs, 34D
I am 5"1', 110 lbs, my bra size is 30D (29" band measurement, 34" bust). I bought this in a size small, though the sizing chart recommends an XS. The reason I went S is because I've purchased XS bras from athleta in the past and they are just WAAAY too tight, squishing my breasts flat instead of pro...viding a flattering support. I would have liked this top if there was a petite version available. Because I am petite, I have a shorter torso length than average, and the Y-strap on this top is long so the bra shelf part just sags down and doesn't support me. The length of the top is long too--comes all the way down to mid-butt. The cups fit fine, though. The top itself is soft and the ribbed texture makes it feel edgy and modern. I read in one of the reviews that the ribbing makes it feel like a 50s bathing suit...they are not wrong, but I like that about it so it is a matter of preference. I love the Y-strap. Too bad it didn't fit me properly.
