Comments about Retreat Linen High Rise Wide Leg Pant

These are my 1st pair of linen pants - I bought them in 4 colors from Athleta. They're high quality linen (not see through, even the natural color). Very flattering! I bought them on sale and love them all. The green is such a nice color!

I bought my usual size small and after washing and drying, it shrank up to the perfect length (5'6" and I like my pants on the long-ish size—must hit feet). Did not seem to shrink elsewhere else. Flattering to the backside, which most pants this style are not. I was afraid I'd hate the vented legs but it is fine for casual wear and WFH. I'd still love to see a dressier version sans vents, drawstring, and zippers. I'll buy in another color now, but please make in navy!

I'm 5'3", so ordered petite, and they are still about three inches too long. C'mon guys.

I really loved these pants in the beginning. I've worn the maybe 5 times over the last year and they are completely torn in the thighs. If your thighs touch I'd would not spend the money…for the price point I expected them to last longer!

This is my 2nd pair of these pants. My first pair has lasted me years with no wear or tear. This pair is coming apart at the pocket and crotch seem. I have only worn them maybe 6 times and I wash them cool and air dry them. Its very disappointing.

These are the most comfy, flowy pants! I bought 2 pairs and love them!! Easy to wash and get wrinkles out of after washing. I'm 6' and bought the tall and fit perfectly.

I loved these pants so much I had them in two colors. Unfortunately after less than 6 months of occasional wear they ripped right on the bum in the exact same spot. Must be a design flaw.

I bought these last year in 2 colors (black and raphanus pink) in a size M. I've lost weight so bought new pairs this year. I ordered the black, undyed, pink sand and cerise all in Small Regular and Small Tall (I have long legs for my height). The Regular length was just barely long enough and since I knew they might shrink some I kept the black, undyed and pink sand in the Small tall and washed and dried them. I didn't notice any real shrinkage in the waist, or the volume of the butt or the legs. But I did notice shrinkage in the length on all of them. The black barely shrunk and the undyed shrunk a lot. In fact the undyed shrunk enough that they were only ever so slightly longer than the unwashed/undried Small regulars. The pink sand shrunk somewhere between the black and the undyed. Otherwise I found these comparable to the 2 pairs I got last year. The pink sand worked best with nude undies. The undyed seemed a bit less see-through (my denim blue undies were only slightly noticeable) and the black were obviously fine. I'm not a fan of the split opening in the legs at the bottom. Last year I had my dry cleaner add some clear plastic snaps so that I could keep the split closed or opened depending upon what I wanted at the moment. I never kept the split open so this year I am having the dry cleaner just completely sew up the split. As many before me have noted, Athlete pants seem so run big. I'm 5'7" and 140 lbs. I was 165-170 lbs last year when I bought the mediums, which fit great at the time. But given the weight loss I knew I had to size down to a small this year.

These are huge! Will probably cut the legs and sew to make a dress. Very thin fabric and they get bigger the longer you wear them.

I purchased an XL tall but could have purchased an L tall. My next pair will be L/Tall. Love these linen pants!
