I had a feeling I wasn't going to end up liking these based on the reviews, but since the petite size was offered, I decided to give them a shot. I ordered an XXS petite and these look nothing like the photos. They are incredibly wide and looked very frumpy and unflattering in every way- including the high-rise waist. The waist rise looks very different than in the photo (which almost looks midrise and what I prefer), far too high on my petite frame. Waistband was uncomfortable and itchy. So basically these are a huge disappointment.

This is an extremely nice quality pair of linen pants. You can tell that the fabric is sturdy but drapes well, the zippered pockets are a nice touch, and they're just overall better than the average linen blend on the market. My only complaint is that they run super long. I'm 5'5 and a typical size Medium, so I ordered the Medium in Regular Length. They are way too long, but I am otherwise happy with the fit, so I plan to hem them and keep them. if you are under 5'7 or 5'8, consider the petite option.

I bought these last year in blue. Same pants, same size. Drastically different length. New ones are 3 inches longer . I had to return

I do like these pants,bought these in natural.Im normally size 8,can wear small or medium in pants..The medium was huge ,the waist was fine but the hip area was huge and the rise was long…Salesperson said the small looked better on me..Tried them on at home ,sat down and the rise and waist were so tight that I had to return them. The rest of pant fit well…I ordered medium petite (Im 5'5")..It fit better in the rise. Not sure if Im keeping them.

I see you Athleta. You raised the price and substituted a lighter weight cheaper linen from last year's pants. The barrel pants are also made with the same cheaper fabric.

The waistband does not stretch very far to allow pulling the pants on! When I unwrapped them from the bag, it appeared that they would fit, but I couldn't come close to pulling the waistband over my (slightly curvy) hips. I did size down from S to XS because they're flowy, however I don't think sizing back up to S would even help this situation. Back they go!

Polyester pockets—really Athleta?!? So disappointing. I will look elsewhere.

These pants are very well made and high quality. They also fit very nicely and are a flattering cut. I highly recommend

These would have been 5-stars if plus sizes were offered in tall lengths. My XLs from last year are now too small, and 1X fits great in the waist and hips, except they're only offered in regular length, which is too short. (I'm 5'9" and pear shaped, 38.5" waist, 52" hips.) They also didn't have any plus size options in the store to try on, and where are the fun color options for us? Very disappointed in the options.
