These are my all time favourite pants. I have 2 or 3 pairs in every colour, all the same size. For reference I am 5 ft 4", approx 120lbs and I purchased in a size XXS as I find they tend to stretch out quite a bit after wearing for a while and they do fit big overall-just not in length-see rest of r...eview. They are snug at first but they have a lot of give to them. My issue with these pants is they are all different lengths, despite the fact that I have purchased consistently in the "regular" length. The undyed colour (my fave) are sadly floodpants on me. They are far too short and look frumpy. At 5ft4" I should not have to purchase a size Tall, but if a Tall were available in this colour, I would try them! The black are by far the best length and are long and flowy, as are the pink colour. I have the blue and green colours and both of them are on the shorter side as well. The white pants are an in between length. I wash them all on cool and dry on low. I think some of the colours are petite sizing but are being sold as regular. That is the only explanation. We are talking some of these pants are 3" longer than others, despite them all being the same size. So, definitely something to keep in mind. If you are even remotely on the taller side, I would recommend ordering the Tall option. I hope Athleta continues to carry these pants and offers more colours. They are so light and comfortable. Perfect for people like me who don't feel comfortable wearing shorts but want to stay cool in the hot weather!
These pants in petite sizing have an inseam of 28 inches, which is way too long. I bought the Petite XXS RETREAT LINEN MID RISE WIDE LEG PANT in Calla Lily (white color) and I was swimming in them. I tried wearing these pants with heels but it defeats the purpose of buying relaxing linen pants in ...a petite size. I also don't like the side slits at the bottom of the leg. The pockets are too prominent looking. On the plus side, the pockets have zippers which is rare and helpful. Zippers are a great way to keep your phone safe as they are prone to slip out when sitting down. The white color are somewhat see through like other reviewers mentioned. BR is currently offering similar petite linen pants without the slit and the inseam is 25 inches which is more reasonable. Unfortunately, they aren't offering matching shirts in multiple colors like they do for the regular sizes. So I'm still on the lookout for matching linen pants and shirt.

I love the quality of these pants. I've been looking for a nice pair of linen pants for a while now. I really like the zippered pockets and they weren't quite a long on as in the picture which is great because I didn't want them dragging on the ground.

The style is great with it's zippered pockets and tulip/split cuffs, and the length of the Medium is perfect for her at 5'6" (size 10). These will be a staple of her trip and I'm sure will become a favourite summer pant.

I originally got these in the undyed color in petite and had to return them because they were dragging on the floor. I decided to try the cacti color (same size) and the length was shorter, perfect actually. I'm 5'3 and they come right to the top of my feet where they should. I can wear flats with them without them dragging on the floor. Although I'm disappointed in the length variance, I'm happy the cacti green color worked. They're baggy, but they're supposed to be, and the cacti is slightly less baggy than the undyed. I'm a true medium and got them in medium. Perfect fit in cacti.

I loved the color and the comfort of the linen material, but I had to return them because they were way too long. There are regular, petite, and tall options — but what about short? I could have kept them if I planned to wear at least 2-inch heels or didn't mind them dragging on the ground, but that's not my style.

Love these pants! Comfy while still cute, these will be perfect for spring and summer. I did find them to run a bit big and long. I sized down one size and got the petite (I'm 5' 4") and they're perfect. I bought them in 2 colors and might get a third!

I am 5'4" tall. I ordered a small petite. They are pretty much the perfect length to wear with flats. I think I would need the regular length for any other type of shoe. If you are even a smidge over 5'4", I would get the regular length.

I absolutely love these pants. Lightweight and so comfortable. Great for the summer when you don't want to be hot but don't want to wear shorts. Just got my third pair in the bright blue color and they are amazing. Great quality. Make sure to wash on delicate cycle and no heat in the dryer or they will shrink (as will all linen pants!)

The inseam on the tall sizes has to be longer than 33". I am 5'11" and the tall size was much too long. I am returning. They are a nice material and not see -through, but I can tell they would stretch out and lose their shape.
