I bought the skirt in black and discovered too late that it's not flattering at all. The fabric is rough and feels like cheap linen, not quality. The wide, thick waistband leaves marks on the skin because it has no lining, just the elasticized linen. The only good think about it is that it has pockets. I bought the skirt because all the dresses looked pretty awful, either as wide as tents or skin tight. Colors hardly exist, just black and ivory white. The last time I found an attractive skirt or dress at Athleta was at least 10 years ago.

This is such a great skirt. I bought a M tall and I'm 5'5" because I like the length. The material is quality and it's got zipper pockets, which is really cool. I bought on sale and a little bit more expensive than I would have liked, but I'm so glad I purchased it before it's sold out

Returned immediately after trying on - I looked frumpy in acsize XS in Black at 5'5". Wish it came in a style that hits right above the knee - let's show some leg!

I bought the blue and white in the wide leg pant and absolutely loved it so I came back for the skirt. I also have it in black. Athleta did a fabulous job of placing the pocket liners so that they aren't obvious but still provide a bit of extra modesty in key spots if that is a concern for you. Hope this continues to be offered, especially in the gorgeous brown they offer in pants.

I absolutely love this skirt. I own several Athleta skirts and skorts, and this is one of my favourites. If you're looking for a breathable, 100% linen skirt for warm weather, this one is an excellent choice. The length is perfect. It falls at mid-calf on me, and I'm 5'7", making it flattering and easy to wear casually or dress up. One thing to note is that the white fabric is slightly sheer (as linen is). I wear nude-coloured Thigh Society shorts underneath, which completely solve the issue while remaining lightweight and breathable. With those on, I don't have to worry about anything showing through. The front pockets give the skirt a slightly casual look, but I have still worn it dressed up. The pockets are also surprisingly functional. They are deep enough to comfortably hold my phone, and each pocket has a zipper, so I never worry about my belongings falling out. That is a feature I really appreciate, especially when travelling or shopping. For sizing, I normally wear a Large (size 12) in Athleta bottoms, but I purchased this skirt in a Medium. The elastic waistband is still very comfortable, and because my hips are not particularly wide, I found the Large had too much fabric through the hip area. Sizing down gave me a much more flattering fit. Overall, this is a beautifully made, comfortable, and versatile linen skirt. It is breathable, practical, and easy to style, making it a great addition to a summer wardrobe.

I love this skirt - it is cool and comfortable. I do not find it's too see-through if you wear nude underwear. Sizing seems to be about right on this one.
