The style is classy and timeless with a fabric that is just a little heavier than the Brooklyn style which I've bought numerous times. The elastic waistband lies flat like a quality tailored fabric yet it remains comfortable even for long international flights without that undesirable bulky, thick ...elastic appearance. Now, my real enthusiasm is because I love the beautiful pink color! I am mentioning this because Athleta needs to have more pastels. How many more black, beige, or navy pants do many of us need or want- especially in spring and summer. I ordered the Petite Small; I am just under 5'4 and a half inches tall, athletic build at 122 pounds. These pants fit me perfectly in both fit and length with room for me to lose or gain 5 pounds. I also can wear a few different heel heights while still having a good fit! PLEASE make more of these- pale yellow, peach, baby blue, turquoise, light green… We Athleta fans are waiting !

The Venice is a popular and great pant . The jogger style has back pockets with a statement zipper. The zipper for the most part add to the sporty of the jogger. The Vencie wide leg cargo does not have back pockets ; it lies nice and smooth ; no over designed distraction. The back pockets on ...the STRAIGHT leg style are disappointing . The pockets are cheap looking slits, no closure. If the fit is not perfectly snug the openings of the pocket , even when sowed closed, pucker in an unflattering way. A lightweight thin zipper closure would have been better design choice OR even better —> why have back pockets that are not practical, add unnecessary bulk and draw attention🤷🏻♀️ Perhaps an attempt to make the straight leg look more like a 'trouser' ; but it's not a trouser. It is a sporty pant. The back pockets look like an after thought and cheapen the look of an otherwise nice pant .

The fit of these pants is great! However, the fabric is largely nylon and doesn't feel soft at all. The seams running down the inside of the leg are rough and scratchy. I will be returning them.

I love these pants! Hoping they come in more colors in the future. Perfect fit for my usual size of MT. The fabric I just right and does show pantie lines or body imperfections! The waist band is wide and very smooth and fitted allowing your top to lay flat. I got the pink and the color is perfect pink. They are casual enough to wear relaxed activity and nice enough to dress up with a nice strappy sandal for a night out. I highly recommend!
