Awkward cut

Nice colors, great fabric, but awkward fit. I'm 5'3" and this tee was very long and looked odd on because the slit is only on one side. I ordered two and sadly had to return.

I wanted to like this - great fabric and colors and I love the overall style. But there is only a slit on one side so it pulls to one side and fits oddly on my hips. Why not have a slit on both sides?!
