9 months after having my daughter and this dress made me feel so confident! I felt like the ruching was flattering and helped enhance curves and not bring attention to other areas that I'm still a little uncomfortable with! Being shorter, the regular size made it a longer dress that reached my ankle...s (which I preferred). If I had gotten a petite, I believe it would've had a similar length to the model. The v neck was also flattering! I loved this dress and will repurchase in navy when it's back in stock!
Was really excited to order this dress, but sadly it disappointed in real life. First off, didn't realize it had a built-in bra, since its kinda of hidden in the details and not shown in the images. This alone is a dealbreaker for me because I'm a D-DD girl and nearly all of the built-in bra clothes... Athleta sells are only for A-C and not nearly supportive enough. Secondly, the M fit TIGHT. I'm usually between a S & M, so this was surprising. And because of the bra, I can't just size up to a L, especially since my chest drags down the neck farther than I'm comfortable with. It was an immediate NO for me.

I was so excited for this dress, but it just didn't deliver. The body portion runs very small, but the top part is larger with extra material bagging under the armpits. I tried sizing up for the lower portion but then the upper was even worse. Two good things - I did love the built-in bra and the fabric a nice mid weight with good stretch.

I wanted so badly to love this dress, it was just a wee bit too tight around the belly and I knew I'd feel like I needed to "hold it in" the whole time. The rouching seemed to showcase my lower belly even more. I'm not quite 5'5, shorter torso, longer legs so I ordered Medium Petite so it would fit higher on my waist. It fit great and hit mid shin, it was just a little too tight!
