9 months after having my daughter and this dress made me feel so confident! I felt like the ruching was flattering and helped enhance curves and not bring attention to other areas that I'm still a little uncomfortable with! Being shorter, the regular size made it a longer dress that reached my ankle...s (which I preferred). If I had gotten a petite, I believe it would've had a similar length to the model. The v neck was also flattering! I loved this dress and will repurchase in navy when it's back in stock!

Was really excited to order this dress, but sadly it disappointed in real life. First off, didn't realize it had a built-in bra, since its kinda of hidden in the details and not shown in the images. This alone is a dealbreaker for me because I'm a D-DD girl and nearly all of the built-in bra clothes... Athleta sells are only for A-C and not nearly supportive enough. Secondly, the M fit TIGHT. I'm usually between a S & M, so this was surprising. And because of the bra, I can't just size up to a L, especially since my chest drags down the neck farther than I'm comfortable with. It was an immediate NO for me.

This dress feels like an ode to Athleta's bra top dresses when it first hit the market in the 2000's. It's crazy comfortable, the bra top is brilliant (even for this DD chest), and it looks...dare I say it...near date night worthy. Yes!

I already know this dress will be tossed into my suitcase for all my summer and warm weather travel destinations. Roll it up and go! There is a built in shelf bra that keeps the girls secure (I'm a C-cup). The ruching at the waist makes it figure flattering and hides a few of the belly rolls ; ) It will look great with a jean jacket or a set of pearls to really dress it up. I tried the dress (Size M) on in the store and opted to order the Petite (Size M) online. I'm 5'3" and it was too long for me in my opinion. The Petite length hits mid calf and the slit hits about 4" above the knee. I love the quality of Athleta and continually add from their collections to my workout, athleisure and travel wardrobes. Fantastic dress! bought all 3 colors! flattering v neck and A-line shape midi. I am a 38DD and puchased the xl although I am sz8/10 on the bottom it is not baggy or sloppy. skims the body and enhances your look. dress up with jewelry and a shawl or go casual with a jean jacket. They have washed up nicely so far:) very pleased.
