All of the new leggings are literally maternity pants on me they ride so high. I've been requesting the return of the midrise for years as they were perfect for my shorter torso on my 5'4 frame. This better for me than the current rises but don't quite hit the same as the old midrise. Slightly ...lower on the back side than I would like, but don't give me a mommy tummy or cut off circulation quite like the high or ultra high rise have been doing.

I was SO excited to see Midrise leggings back, but was disappointed to find these do not fit like the Midrise leggings from years ago (which I still have because they are so hard to find). I ordered a regular length, small, a size up from my previous Midrise leggings. When they arrived, I checked ...the tag twice to make sure they weren't cropped. The inseam is 22 inches and at least 2 inches shorter than my previous Midrise leggings. They were hard to pull on because the leg opening is made for 7/8 but they are so short they need to go to cropped length. The front/back rise were fine for me and same as previous Midrise, I think everyone is having trouble because of the inseam. When I tried contacting Athleta to see if these were mismarked, I only got an AI response reading the website, which I already did. Please bring back the old Midrise leggings, I'll buy 10!

so bummed…like the other reviewers i was so excited to see the mid rise elation came back i STILL have my old mid rise from years ago, so perfect as a petite they fit so great. these unfortunately dont, way to short in the back i spent my entire class pulling them up. . ATHLETA PLEASE DUPLICATE YOUR OLD MID RISE

I have older pairs of mid rise elation leggings and I missed where it said these were "new" so I didn't expect them to be different. It's like instead of making the inseam shorter, they made the whole waistband shorter. So the waistband still doesn't quite hit in the right place (lower stomach area). I'm very short so I get it, but the old mid rise fit so perfectly and I'm really disappointed in these. Wish I hadn't taken the tags off the second pair but I've been wearing elation leggings for years and didn't expect the fit to be so drastically different. I had hopes the first pair were just cut weird but when I tried the second pair they were the same

I love my Athleta leggings in several styles and I was excited to see a mid rise option. The fabric is soft and comfy, and I'm keeping them but not ordering more. The rise is perfect in front, but not quite high enough in back and my rear is small! The rise design needs a bit of tweaking.
