Latest pair not as soft and stretchy as previous pairs

My granddaughter loved the XS chitchat shorts she received in June 2023. The S pair I ordered in August are noticeably less stretchy. My middle school aged daughter (11yrs) absolutely loves these shorts! The fit is perfect, and they are an appropriate length. They wash well and the fabric is really nice to the touch.

i bought these as a cheaper alternative to a pair of adult biker/workout shorts and they are amazing! i am typically an xs in women's, and i ordered an xl and it fit great! they are a bit loose on the waistline but the length and material is great! definitely recommend!
