Ordered this earlier in pale pink which is a beautiful color. From the reviews I knew the petite xs would be too big on me at 5'2", 111 lbs. So I took a risk and ordered the regular size xxs. At first it seemed a bit big everywhere including bulk in the sleeves. But I was hopeful for a bit of shrink...ing over time so that it could still cover my personal areas when wearing with leggings without it being too bulky or potato sack looking. I was also concerned about a mushroom cloud shape. GOOD NEWS: after a few washes xxs is perfect. Everything I hoped for. No potato sack nor mushroom cloud. Just ordered a second one. If not wanting any shrinkage I'd recommend air drying. I highly recommend this! No pilling. Cozy. Beautiful.

As an enthusiastic new Athleta customer, I purchased this in Glacier and Pyrite to match the coordinating leggings. I loved these until I tried to wear them. Fitness sweatshirts should be made to wear and move and even sweat in. These are comfortable and cute but the fabric is absolute garbage. Anyt...hing and everything stains these. Fine to wear if you don't wash your hands or drink water or let anything touch you while wearing. Water stained the glacier sweatshirt and hand soap from washing my hands stained the Pyrite sweatshirt. A cold water delicate cycle wash did not remove the stains so I put a little bit of unscented dye-free Tide detergent on the stains and washed again on delicate cycle in cold water and dried on low heat setting. Guess what... the dye-free unscented laundry detergent left even bigger stains. And, the cherry on top is that the collars on both of them shrunk so much after 1 low heat gentle dry cycle that neither one can be zipped up all the way any more. I purchased 5 other Athleta sweatshirt in the full zip hoodie, pull over hoodie, and half zip styles and will be finished with Athleta if the same thing happens with those. I'm a brand loyalist and like to purchase what I know is reliable and well made and I wanted to make Athleta my fitness and workout clothing brand, but if I can't count on the sweatshirts to last through one wearing, what does that indicate about everything else? Disappointment is an understatement.

athleta.gapcanada.caI ordered medium in the Elm color. The color is rich and dark, and the fabric is soft and cozy. However, medium is way too big on me. I should have known, since Althleta mediums always seem like a large. Sending back for a small.

The mushroom color is not actually mushroom and is not a color I like/can wear. I have several other items in this color from Athleta, and this particular sweatshirt has more green to it than the 'mushroom' color. Really bummed because I love their normal mushroom color!

I slipped it on right away. Beyond soft, SO cozy. The Twilight color is a muted grape. Definitely size down unless you're really tall or want it supersized. I never wear an Athleta Small, but that is the size I kept. The Medium looked like it would fit my husband.

Great quality. The fabric is so soft. The length is perfect for someone like me who avoids the "cropped look". It is very hard to find the right length in sweatshirts when you are 60+ years old. I am in great shape but the cropped look is not appropriate on someone my age. Will purchase in additional colors.
