I'm 5'10" and 185lbs with a 34" inseam so it can be difficult finding clothes that fit. It's frustrating that I try on a medium and a large in-store, and when I order the large tall online, the sizing feels completely different in the waist and is literally falling off me. I don't know if it's a qua...lity control issue or another case of clothing lines automatically making their tall sizing wider. I make special trips to the store to ensure I'm ordering the right size and even that has proven time and again to be unreliable. Do designers think everyone with long legs is plus size too? Do you even have tall women on staff in design? Now that I've had my time to vent I do love the colors of these and the fabric is so comfortable and soft. I do worry this will pill on the first wash due to the feel and fabric content though, and I'll be putting in some elbow grease with my fabric shaver. I said this about the matching sweater too but a 100% cotton option for sweats would be ideal for those who are trying to move away from microplastic fabric sourced from fossil fuels.

Initially bought a M Tall in the grey after a friend suggested I try Athleta over Lululemon. I had read to size down so I purchased a M Tall instead of L Tall (I also bought a grey half zip and it's my favourite hoodie). The grey sweatpants are easily my favourite sweatpants I've ever had. I purchas...ed a second black pair and there must be something off because the black pants (also purchased a M Tall) are at least 2" shorter on the right leg than the grey and 3" shorter on the left leg. The material is so lovely but very disappointed in how off the measurements are. I've been searching for good tall sweatpants and I don't know if I'd purchase these again. The difference in leg lengths on the black pair is noticeable when I'm wearing them and they aren't long enough for me like the grey ones are. Fingers crossed that these black sweatpants are a one off because if I order another pair and the length is off I will not be purchasing from Athleta again.

I love that they're oversized and comfy and soft. They wash and wear very well. Dry on a low to medium heat setting, and they'll be fine. I haven't had any shrinkage in size or length which is great. I bought an XS which is a size smaller than I'd normally wear. They're still loose but definitely not sloppy. Normally I'm a solid size 6 in Athleta. I'm *so happy* to have pants that cover my ankles in the cold. I was so sick of the short jogger styles that didn't keep my legs and joints warm. Who needs their legs exposed when you're trying to stay warm? These are plenty long for someone like me who's 5'6" to 5'7". I've bought a lot of pairs to keep me stocked. 😉 #sweepstakes

We are having a very cold start to winter here in the Midwest, and we have a new dog that requires that first morning walk, when you really still want to be in bed, in your PJs. (But she's totally worth it.) These are my half-asleep, pulling on cold outdoor gear as fast as I can to take her out. (In a condo, however, so you have to be ready to face neighbors in the lobby and elevators and not be embarrassed by what you're wearing.) Definitely size down!
