I'm 5'10" and 185lbs with a 34" inseam so it can be difficult finding clothes that fit. It's frustrating that I try on a medium and a large in-store, and when I order the large tall online, the sizing feels completely different in the waist and is literally falling off me. I don't know if it's a qua...lity control issue or another case of clothing lines automatically making their tall sizing wider. I make special trips to the store to ensure I'm ordering the right size and even that has proven time and again to be unreliable. Do designers think everyone with long legs is plus size too? Do you even have tall women on staff in design? Now that I've had my time to vent I do love the colors of these and the fabric is so comfortable and soft. I do worry this will pill on the first wash due to the feel and fabric content though, and I'll be putting in some elbow grease with my fabric shaver. I said this about the matching sweater too but a 100% cotton option for sweats would be ideal for those who are trying to move away from microplastic fabric sourced from fossil fuels.

Initially bought a M Tall in the grey after a friend suggested I try Athleta over Lululemon. I had read to size down so I purchased a M Tall instead of L Tall (I also bought a grey half zip and it's my favourite hoodie). The grey sweatpants are easily my favourite sweatpants I've ever had. I purchas...ed a second black pair and there must be something off because the black pants (also purchased a M Tall) are at least 2" shorter on the right leg than the grey and 3" shorter on the left leg. The material is so lovely but very disappointed in how off the measurements are. I've been searching for good tall sweatpants and I don't know if I'd purchase these again. The difference in leg lengths on the black pair is noticeable when I'm wearing them and they aren't long enough for me like the grey ones are. Fingers crossed that these black sweatpants are a one off because if I order another pair and the length is off I will not be purchasing from Athleta again.

Comfy, soft and great design. Is oversized. Your normal size will be overly oversized. If don't like that look size down. They will still be loose. Great joggers.

Warm and soft but way too much material for a short person. Very baggy so didn't look flattering. Had to return but wish I could keep it. Definitely size down if you order. 5'2" 140lbs ordered a medium petite. Length was perfect but waist was super baggy. Would need a small.

I looked at the size chart and ordered that size. It was so big that I'm rethinking my Athleta sizing. I wear a Large tall in all their pants and a XL in skirts. I think the medium would have fit perfectly!!!

Finally! Comfy joggers that cover my ankles! And they have POCKETS! I have the black pair in XS tall, I am 5'8" and about 130lbs. The small was a bit big on me so I swapped it out for XS and it's great! Just the right amount of cozy. Yes they are a relaxed fit so that explains why the sizes "run big". It's not a bad thing at all it just depends on your preference. Now I'm waiting for the XS tall to be back in stock in pink! Or red! The fabric is amazing both inside and out. You can feel the quality!

Super great material and so cozy. They're big for sure, even sizing down to an extra small, as I have to do for most Athleta clothing items. But they're just for around the house, so that's fine. Being 5'2", I definitely should've gotten the petite/short length as they're too long, but I was purchasing an item on sale, so I knew the risk I was taking.
