I recently caught the Avenue Romper on sale, and it has quickly become a favorite in my wardrobe. The medium tall size fits me well - I'm 5'6" (closer to 5'7") and 165 pounds after a full day of meals, and this romper provides a flattering, loose fit that still complements my shape. I also appreciat...e that it does not hang too low in the crotch, which is a pet peeve of mine with jumpsuits. The material is fab-thin, breezy, and breathable. It feels wonderful against my skin and is forgiving without being see-through. The versatility of this romper is another big plus; it's cute enough to dress up with some accessories and heels, yet sporty enough for a more casual look. In summary, the Athleta Avenue Romper is a versatile, comfortable, and stylish addition to any wardrobe. I LOVE my Brooklyn Utility Romper so I decided that maybe athletic rompers are my summer aesthetic. This one definitely is not it. First off, it's huge. Easy wearing is nice in the summertime, but I went down a size and it was still too big and not in a cute, relaxed way - instead, it made me look... 1-2 sizes larger. I'm 5'7", 150lbs, muscular build particularly in the upper arms/shoulders and thighs. The shorts were way too puffy at the hips, the leg openings are too large (and I have very muscular hamstrings), and the top was very loose. The tie at the waist cheapens the look and overall I felt like I was wearing a hand-me-down 1970s Girl Scout uniform made of cheap polyester. I returned it and instead ordered the Brooklyn romper in two more colors. If you want a flattering romper, that's the move.

I typically wear petite. I'm 5' 3" and 118. I got this romper in an XS and it fit perfectly. Super cute, I can even wear to work on a Friday during warm weather days. I'm usually more curvy, but I recently lost some weight- muscle mass and fat. I'm usually 120-130. If I was buying for my normal weight- I'd definitely get the small. I think folks who have longer legs- I have short legs and always need the petite pants or need to get my leggings hemmed up- have had complaints on how the romper fits. I have zero complaints.
