I've gone back and forth on whether to keep or return. Ultimately I think I've decided to keep them. Some of the things I don't like: the 2 blacks don't match but when they're on, it's not as noticeable. They say they're mid-rise, but they are high-rise! Which I don't like and is main reason I was g...oing to return them. I just find high-rise uncomfortable & unflattering. And they go in considerably at the waist, so if you hold them up, they are a definite hourglass shape. I'm pretty straight and carry a little extra in my middle so I find the waist going in not that pleasant and I really don't know many people actually built that way...you'd have to have a really small waist to normal hips, or have really large hips. Why I'm deciding to keep them: they fill a need for a dressier pant but with the legging comfort and some stretch. I also love that they're long...I got the tall. I like my leggings to bunch up a small amount on top of my foot and these do that perfectly. I'm counting on losing a bit of weight in my mid-section then I think these will be perfect! For reference, I'm 5'6" about 120lbs and got the tall. I don't think I would have liked the regular near as much. Not a fan of the 7/8 length or my ankles showing and being cold in the Chicago winter! These look cute being a bit longer.

I like these, but they could be better. Use the fit finder tool... my street clothes size was too small, but the fit finder recommendation was perfect. Style and features are great, and fit is spot on... except the waist band is really loose. It has an internal drawcord, but it doesn't have a ...toggle, so doesn't stay cinched... and it's too short to cut and tie a bow. I removed the drawcord and added an elastic waist, and they are perfect now (but at this price, that shouldn't be necessary). The Black is not black. It's a brown/dark gray black on front, and black-black in back... it does NOT match other black items from Athleta. Ugh - I like to match. (I also purchased in cabernet, which matches other cabernet tees/tanks perfectly.) The fabric is really thick and heavy. (Why are all Athleta fabrics soooo thick??) These are fine in the winter, but the other day it was 75 out, and my butt was sweating in these. (How does "that" happen!) TOO SHORT... why is everything so short? It would be great if they offered an ankle and FULL LENGTH option. (I'm too chubby for "tall" sizes.)

I so so so wanted to love these pants! I read all the reviews and I got so excited to order them! They finally came and I put them on and I looked down and I initially felt like a cool Lara Croft, but instead I looked up and I turned into Lara Crotch…!? If you have any kind of fupa or pooch, these may not be the pants for you. I just had a baby a year ago and finally felt like I was getting my body back, but I got these pants and I did NOT feel good in them. Something with the thickness of the fabric in the area with the hard seem line down the middle did not make things look flattering. Weird because a lot of pants have seems down the middle with no problem, but it might just be the cut or the combination of the thick fabric. Maybe I'll wait a bit longer for the pooch to go down before I try again…

These are so cool looking! Love them! I bought in black and green. Would totally buy again! I am 5'3", 140-145, hourglass shape and I purchase a 6. I would say these are true to size. So comfortable with slight strech and will be grat for travel and gym!

These are amazing pants for just about anything outdoors. Thick but stretchy, flattering, and with a ton of sleek zipper pockets. Would also double as a great horse riding hybrid breech, as it's got everything but the knee patch and plenty of space to keep your phone on you.
