I've gone back and forth on whether to keep or return. Ultimately I think I've decided to keep them. Some of the things I don't like: the 2 blacks don't match but when they're on, it's not as noticeable. They say they're mid-rise, but they are high-rise! Which I don't like and is main reason I was g...oing to return them. I just find high-rise uncomfortable & unflattering. And they go in considerably at the waist, so if you hold them up, they are a definite hourglass shape. I'm pretty straight and carry a little extra in my middle so I find the waist going in not that pleasant and I really don't know many people actually built that way...you'd have to have a really small waist to normal hips, or have really large hips. Why I'm deciding to keep them: they fill a need for a dressier pant but with the legging comfort and some stretch. I also love that they're long...I got the tall. I like my leggings to bunch up a small amount on top of my foot and these do that perfectly. I'm counting on losing a bit of weight in my mid-section then I think these will be perfect! For reference, I'm 5'6" about 120lbs and got the tall. I don't think I would have liked the regular near as much. Not a fan of the 7/8 length or my ankles showing and being cold in the Chicago winter! These look cute being a bit longer.

I like these, but they could be better. Use the fit finder tool... my street clothes size was too small, but the fit finder recommendation was perfect. Style and features are great, and fit is spot on... except the waist band is really loose. It has an internal drawcord, but it doesn't have a ...toggle, so doesn't stay cinched... and it's too short to cut and tie a bow. I removed the drawcord and added an elastic waist, and they are perfect now (but at this price, that shouldn't be necessary). The Black is not black. It's a brown/dark gray black on front, and black-black in back... it does NOT match other black items from Athleta. Ugh - I like to match. (I also purchased in cabernet, which matches other cabernet tees/tanks perfectly.) The fabric is really thick and heavy. (Why are all Athleta fabrics soooo thick??) These are fine in the winter, but the other day it was 75 out, and my butt was sweating in these. (How does "that" happen!) TOO SHORT... why is everything so short? It would be great if they offered an ankle and FULL LENGTH option. (I'm too chubby for "tall" sizes.)

I have these pants in 3 colors and wear them all the time. I ordered a petite because I like the cropped length. I am 5'6'' and the petite hit me just above my ankle. I have had my black pair for years and they wear really well.

I don't usually write reviews, but I endlessly read them before purchasing items. I've been buying Athleta for years and never had sizing issues, ever. I'm a solid 6, but I decided to get both a 6 and an 8 just in case. They were both TIGHT! I came to double check to see if I ordered youth sizes but no. I'm honestly surprised because majority of my clothes are from here.

I love these pants and just bought my third pair. I always wear them when I'm flying. They are super comfortable to sit for hours, and the multiple pockets are great for your passport and drivers license. They still look great after multiple days of wearing on vacation. When I walk in my neighborhood, I just throw a credit card and ID in the pockets and I'm set for hours away from the house.

I originally bought these a few years ago when I was going to be traveling with my daughter in Europe and I needed some very versatile pants that looked good and then I could wear with a few different outfits and easily wash them. These were the perfect fit. No pun intended. I wore them almost every day washing them every few days and they were perfect. They have pockets everywhere and they are very flattering. I have been waiting for them to come back and I just ordered them in the Greene to complete the set. I actually ordered another pair in black as well because I am so afraid to be without them!!!
