Its not too cropped, on me. The material is wonderful, its not heavy - thinner than the essential tee material. I think its the same material as the true cotton tee. It doesn't look boxy, though it is roomy. I love the sleeves - longer than the tee but not too long. I am 68 years old, 5'5.5" tall an...d weigh 100 lbs. This tee hits just at the top of my very low rise jeans. Belly shows when I lift my arms but not much.

Wish this was even 1" longer. It's quite cropped, not a typical 'conservative' crop that I've come to expect from Athleta. It works ok if you're wearing ultra high rise, but I'm 44 and not really interested in showing my tummy;) I'm 5'9" with a long torso, 140lbs, flat chest, lean/athletic body shap...e. Purchased the Medium. I really like it, but probably won't be buying more colors. I want a crop-ish tee that I can wear with high waisted jeans, etc. - something that's not ultra-high rise leggings

Love the longer sleeve length for mature arms. Great for exercise, launders well, keeps it's shape, no shrinking! Looks nice under sweaters when on the run. I have 4, what a bargain when on sale.
