Latest pair not as soft and stretchy as previous pairs

My granddaughter loved the XS chitchat shorts she received in June 2023. The S pair I ordered in August are noticeably less stretchy. These are great shorts fit great for my daughter at dance, the shipping was horrendous!!! They were over a week late with no explanation so communication and they arrived too late! We needed them for a dance trip and they arrived after we left.

I'm an adult, so I got the xxl and they fit great (I usually wear XS in Athleta). Saved some money and I think they actually function better than my transcend shorts I have. They are a little thicker and don't show sweat nearly as bad or quickly. They also don't have much compression, but I love them. Comfy and fun color that wasn't available on the adult side! If you've never thought to check out the girl side, give it a try. I can usually squeeze into the xl or xxl.
