Any positive reviews of this item must have been written before it was worn. The padded liner which exists to minimize "nippling" (not to increase the appearance of girls' bust line, as one reviewer said) is not tacked into place, so it free floats in the top. This would be merely frustrating IF it had a small opening that allowed you to reach in and adjust it, but it is completely sewn shut, so once the liners move, it is impossible to readjust them into place. The liner should have been sewn into place or left out completely. As it is, I am going to have to cut the seam and take them out myself. If this was an old navy suit, I wouldn't expect better, but this top is not cheap. The quality should have been better and I am here at the pool feeling extremely aggravated at Athleta for letting this one go out this way.

I can't believe they didn't make the bra pads removable. Or sew them in place. They bunch or fold up, float around the entire front panel and generally look awful - with no way to remove them. My kid loves the look of this suit but the bunchy floating pads are such a hassle. It was clearance priced or I would have returned it.

Bathing suit looks super cute on my 10 year old. My only issue is the inside bra clumps down when in the pool. There's no little hole to adjust the inside part of the bathing suit too.

I buy my two girls Athleta swimsuits every summer for the style and quality. I purchased this top, the matching bottoms and coordinated tankini top as well. Being all reversible, it creates a variety of combinations which is fun especially when travelling light to go on vacation.
