I bought the Ecru color on sale to replace some parachute pant material Athleta joggers purchased several years ago. I probably could have sized down, but I got PXS. I love how they fit oversized but not frumpy. Definitely needed the petite. The elastic cuff hits just at my ankle which works with ...tennis shoes. Looks great with a tighter fitting tank. I went back and bought the black as well. One problem is they stick to me if I get sweaty. Not see through in either color and the swish-swish of the fabric when walking isn't too loud. I wear with the linen blend tank and tuck a section in at the front. Happy.
These did not work for me-- huge and bulky.

Roomy and comfortable, elastic at ankles are not tight, great styling with the sheen on the fabric and the contract side stripe. Washes easily, no shrinkage, can move and exercise with ease without feeling bulky. Attractive and fashionable!

Love these pants and don't know why more people aren't buying them! The fit is super flattering, they're very comfy to wear, and the stripe is such a fun detail. They aren't super "swishy" sounding when you walk. I bought the ecru/white for myself and black/navy for my daughter and honestly wish there were more color options!

Can't say enough great things about these parachute pants. I remember parachute pants being popular in the 80s. Athleta brought the style back in a whole new and fun way. I fell in love with the pants from the moment I saw them on the store. I love them even more on. Very comfy, love the stripe, length great, baggy but too baggy, and easy to wash and have them look like new. Great pants in August and well into the Fall and beyond.

The perfect pants for the gym. I have a hard time looking for gym pants since I sweat through a lot and these were perfect. No sweat, super comfortable, and stylish (I feel like a Spice Girl in the 90s) when I wear these with my New Balance shoes. Size is accurate! I'm 5'3' and 143 lbs- M was perfect for me.

Love these comfortable and casual MC Hammer Pants! They are so lightweight with a comfortable off the hip waistline with a drawstring. So fashionable with a pin strip down the side. Never thought this short girl would be able to pull of loose fitting pants but the Petite XS is perfect!
