Great summery colour but why not put skin tone liner in??? The material is light but liner is same color of shorts and shows through... Can't return due to final sale. A small was a bit looser around hips and legs but an XS might have been too tight at waist (5'1, 118), good length.

These shorts are super light and comfortable. As someone with a small waist but a larger booty, these are a great style because they are fitted around the waist but flowy around the butt (besides the liner). I am usually a medium in their leggings, but an XS in these shorts fit the best for me.

I love Athleta running shorts; and tend to buy them over their competitors, but these are a bit of a disappointment. The material is really thin which may be what some runners like. However, they feel a bit cheap to me. When I ran with them, the inside of the shirt rode up and I had to pull them down quite a bit. The waist band is an awkward thickness as well. The one thing I do appreciate is the zippered pocket in the back that fits my phone. I'd be lying if I said I didn't pick these based on that. For a running a high end short I expected them to be better than they are.
