The material is smooth and slick - provides tummy support and wicks away sweat. Love the white piping on the cardinal colored shorts to add a little pizazz. This collection is not my favorite fabric. Will return. I am gym person and this is what they recommend for durability in gym but it's a little too compressive for me . But I'm him and don't need compression 😎
