I actually went down three sizes to find the pair that fit. My normal size was falling off me. They do require some ironing, but they're super comfortable and very versatile.

Nice quality pants but boy are they huge! I'm generally a medium in most anything and I bought both Small and X-small to try them out based on reviews. I'm keeping the XS but these are absolutely not mid-rise. They are very much high waisted. The smalls I was swimming in.

First- READ THE REVIEWS on these. They run very large. I bought an XXS and they are still a little loose. I can make it work with the drawstring so I'm not overly concerned and they still look and feel good. I'm 5'4" and 130lbs for reference. The material is more of an athletic linen (a little more stiff than linen). I found them to be a little more high rise than sitting low on my waist. I paired them with a white fitted crop top and they were perfect.

Size down! I usually wear L or size 14 pants for Athteta. I read the online reviews that it runs large so I went to the store to try on. I ended up getting S! I have small torso but very pear shaped so the darts on the fronts compensated for my belly and hips and the high-rise waist ended up being perfect fit around by lower rib area. Without the darts, I would have to get M. Of course, the pant do not look like how the model is wearing them as she has very slim hips and no belly. Besides the crazy sizing, I love the pants! I wanted linen pants for summer but can't handle the wrinkles. These are fabulous alternative wrinkle resistant summer pants. Love the cargo look (pocket!!) without the bulk of other cargo pants. I got both tan and black color.

I am 5"9, 147lbs, and am absolutely swimming in the medium. I wanted to love them, and I think I would in a smaller size, the fabric is lovely, but these are silly looking. I am definitely not a size small, so order accordingly.
