I bought these because I saw the picture and thought "Oh! Those look cute and comfy, and maybe I could wear them to work?" What actually arrived was more like a parachute with some holes. I'm tall and I try not to wear clothes that could also double as black-out curtains, but here we are. Now I have something to block out the morning sun on weekends. Definitely not a smart buy, unless you miss buying yards of fabric at Joann.

I have been wearing Athleta for over 10 years and these pants are gigantic, not only super baggy but long. I am 5'6, 145 lbs and ordered a small but they have to be cinched in all the way and rolled. The model in the picture has to be in and XXS. Super disappointed!

These pants are huge and clearly mis-sized. I bought a small, which firs like at least an extra large. Deceptive to the shopper, and not returnable as a final sale. Very disappointing.

The most comfortable pants ever imo….loved them so much in black that I came back for another pair. The drawstring waist is the best part. They do run big so size down as others have also recommended. I'm 5' 8" and the length is perfect. The white might be the tiniest bit see through but not by much. Will be watching for sales on other colors and hope they never stop making them!

I want to start by saying that I have been buying, wearing, and loving Athleta clothing since they first opened a store in Sonoma County, California almost 15 years ago. I'm 6'1" and a size 12–14 with a large frame and the Athleta brand has been a gift to me. From travel pants to clothes for swimming, Pilates and Rowing, I live in and love the brand. I did read the reviews for these pants and understood that they run large, but I ordered a large tall and they fit like 3XL!!! They were so huge and so long that I washed them in hot water (I NEVER USE HOT WATER) then I dried them on high heat, and they were still monstrously huge. I was leaving on a tropical vacation so I ordered both white and black, and of course, I'm now stuck with both of them because of the final sale no return policy. Clearly, the sizing on these pants is an egregious ERROR. This is not a case of something running a little large. Before Gap purchased Athleta, the Athleta team would have taken care of customers who experienced this kind of dissatisfaction about a very serious sizing error. Now, not so much. Come on Athleta! You have some really loyal customers and we are savvy about your clothing and your sizing. You made a mistake with this one, and you should stand behind what you sell. Whatever you do, do not buy these pants. I'm not sure if my correct sizing on them would have been a small or a medium, and I haven't needed these sizes since I was 10 years old. I should have believed the reviews and saved my money.

Horrible to care for... I washed according to instructions then threw in trash.
