DD size smaller than other Athleta bras

Love Athleta bras and I can always fit into the small DD size, even though I'm a 32F (aka 32DDD). But this particular style runs quite a bit smaller. My boobs are smooshing out the top. Not what I want for my workout. Too bad, it's a very cute style.

I'm a 36B - so not large up top at all. I usually get a M in Athleta. This bra fits so tight I thought maybe I had bought a girls bra by mistake. Not even remotely flattering even though the material is ridiculously soft and it looks cute on the hanger. I might see if a L works better.

I love the color but I feel like this bra is a bit short height wise for a D-dD, meaning not quite enough coverage Nd more cleavage showing compared to some of the other styles.
