I'm 5'2" 170lbs, and loose fitting clothes aren't very flattering on me. I bought this dress in M instead of my typical XL, based on other reviews. The M is still a little loose, but it's just right for an everyday, casual dress. The L or XL would've swallowed me. And I'm not sure how much the lengt...hs change between sizes, but the M ends right above my knees. I got the cypress color, a gorgeous teal-y green, which would look good on anyone. Highly recommend this color. Also, I'm a fan of the comfy fleece interior and the sleeves. Two areas of improvement: The pockets can get bunched in a weird way sometimes, and they're made of a slightly scratchy mesh. Plus, my pockets end up carrying my keys, phone, and whatever else, but I can kind of feel everything through the mesh. It's just not my favorite material for this. Last, the stiching on the inside of the dress is scratchy. I didnt notice at first, but after a whole day, it starts to bother me. But it doesn't bother me enough to return this dress.

LOVELY fabric. This is such a soft and stretchy dress, so the comfort is over the top, but the sewing is inconsistent. After ordering and receiving this dress in the mail, I noticed the hemline had an area on the right that curls out a little. I steamed and hung the dress hoping it would straighten ...out, but it didn't. The hem and bottom cut is just a little off. So I went to the store to try on the same dress (two different sizes) hoping to exchange it for one with a better hem. Both dresses that I tried on were cut differently than the one I ordered. The arm pits on the M were hug (like a large dress) and the fabric across the shoulders was too tight. So I tried on a small and had the same odd pulling across the shoulders. Seems there are some slight manufacturing inconsistencies. One other small detail, this dress should not be hung. In-store all the dresses had hanger marks at the shoulders causing the fabric to stand up at a point. Best to drape through the middle of a hanger or folded between wearing – so if hanging is a must, just wanted to share.

Very comfortable and the dark green color is beautiful. I am typically size L or XL and got this is XL. Could have probably gotten the smaller size but the larger one is nice and comfy. The cut of the dress however is not flattering and this will be mainly worn at home only. I have broader shoulders and the way the top of the dress is cut does emphasize my shoulders and make me look top heavy. Also I do not like the pockets. Though they are practical I suppose, the zipper is pulling the fabric creating a weird pouchy middle section for the dress. My 7 year old who is not afraid to say the truth, asked if I am pregnant... But overall this dress is comfy and warm, and I will keep it to wear at home. This will pair nicely with leggins. At 5'11 I would not wear this on its own, it is too short and would ust look like I forgot to wear pants.

I have several other colors in this dress. It's a cute dress to wear out to do errands. The material is thin like the Coaster Luxe sweatshirt. It seems like every year, the quality of Athleta's clothes gets a little cheaper. I think the dress is over priced, but it was on sale when I bought it.

I have this dress in all the colors because I love it so much - I wear it almost every day. It's so soft and the fabric will not pill and last many washes! Flattering fit (fitted on torso but flows looser over midsection and hips). True to size (though Athleta seems to have changed their sizing sometimes between 2023/2024. I have two of these dresses in Small but had to size up to a Medium now to get the exactly same dress again). #sweepstakes
