I've been looking for a exercise skirt to change up my athleisure look. This skirt fits the bill! I love the length and the high rise waist. I chose black to be able to mix and match with a lot of things.

Bring back the old style

The new style is awful. The cut is not flattering to those with a stomach and the under shorts are too short and cut too loose. The old style would disguise a lower stomach and the fabric and cut of the shorts would provide a smoothing effect. Also, the grip on the shorts has been changed and now ...

I love all things Athleta, but this was a big no. The material is lovely and high quality but that's where it ends. I've seen other skorts made this way now and I guess it's a new "thing" but seriously, it is not hemmed! It looks like someone took a scissors to a longer skirt and didn't do a very good job.The back is cut longer and the sides cut higher and it just looks off... think, I just cut my own bangs and have to keep recutting because they are uneven. Hem the skort!

The short liners are shorter than any other skirt currently in the selection, an oversight when I ordered. Assumed a longer length skirt would mean longer short liner. Tugged at it the entire time of my workout, hated it. These are going back.
