These used to be my favorite jogger and I have a few pairs. I needed to get some more in a smaller size, but the new design is really a step down. The zip ankles in the previous design were super flattering and the thing I loved the most. They have been replaced by an overly tight, cheap looking elastic ankle. Athleta also changed out the flattering waistband to an unflattering thicker one in front (same awful change was made to the Brooklyn Ankle Pant) and a cheaper looking ribbed elastic in the back instead of the previous smooth one. They also made the back pockets zippered instead of the side pockets. I don't like either zippered. Overall, I am just really so sad that I will now have to shop for a different brand jogger as these are no longer for me.

The Brooklyn ankle pant was my go-to travel pant, but I always hoped Athleta would make these into a jogger: dreamy fabric and no chance of a hem dragging on the airport floor. The rear zipper pocket is key. Many years ago, I purchased the lined Brooklyn jogger for winter, and I highly recommend it as well. The lining is so soft and comfy. Size up one on the lined product.
