This shirt was my first purchase from Athleta! I saw a woman wearing an athletic sweater tunic (she was probably 5'5" or shorter) with leggings, both in the same color and I LOVED the look! Then I went on a google search which eventually led me here and to this top in the color Iris, which is beauti...ful! I ended up going with the Small Tall and had to check every morning for limited restock to hurry up and snatch it! I'm 5'7", 155lbs, 41 years old, and have broad shoulders. I love this elevated athletic put together look with the matching leggings! Tall length covers my bottom which I wanted. I'm hoping the mineral and bone color comes in the Tall size too soon! Great first purchase!
As an enthusiastic new Athleta customer, I purchased this in Glacier and Pyrite to match the coordinating leggings. I loved these until I tried to wear them. Fitness sweatshirts should be made to wear and move and even sweat in. These are comfortable and cute but the fabric is absolute garbage. Anyt...hing and everything stains these. Fine to wear if you don't wash your hands or drink water or let anything touch you while wearing. Water stained the glacier sweatshirt and hand soap from washing my hands stained the Pyrite sweatshirt. A cold water delicate cycle wash did not remove the stains so I put a little bit of unscented dye-free Tide detergent on the stains and washed again on delicate cycle in cold water and dried on low heat setting. Guess what... the dye-free unscented laundry detergent left even bigger stains. And, the cherry on top is that the collars on both of them shrunk so much after 1 low heat gentle dry cycle that neither one can be zipped up all the way any more. I purchased 5 other Athleta sweatshirt in the full zip hoodie, pull over hoodie, and half zip styles and will be finished with Athleta if the same thing happens with those. I'm a brand loyalist and like to purchase what I know is reliable and well made and I wanted to make Athleta my fitness and workout clothing brand, but if I can't count on the sweatshirts to last through one wearing, what does that indicate about everything else? Disappointment is an understatement.

This color (Mortar Mushroom) was not what I hoped. Very flat. This sweatshirt looks like its been washed a dozen times. Trim (by zipper and collar) are faded. Just looks old and worn out but in a good way. Very disappointing. Sending back. I am 5'4 and the small was frumpy.

Very soft and well made but just a wrong cut for me. A smaller size might fit in the shoulder but then it would be too tight in the hips.

I love a 1/4 zip sweatshirt, but it's hard to find one this good! It's roomy enough to wear over another shirt. The bottom band is loose enough to not bunch up. The sleeves are the right length. When the zip is open it creates a flattering frame for the face. When the zip is closed it creates a cozy turtleneck that is not too tight. But, best of all, it has big pockets. Well done!

Beyond soft. Looking to replace my all time favorite sweatshirt - this one is coming close.... Its comfy, warm, and lets me snuggle. It looks great with jeans, better with leggings, and its perfect for a cup of coffee on a rainy day. I went with a small for a more tailored fit but a medium would have been just as comfy. For size purposes - curvy, pear shaped with nothing up top and a little bit of ballast on the bottom. Buy this one to snuggle for the winter! #sweepstakes
