I love this sweatshirt! I chose the navy stripe. So flattering as it hugs my waste and shows some tum while being loose in the chest and arms making it cozy, esp. with the heavier terry cotton. I love athletas retroterry line, it's my favorite and gets softer with every wash. I also like the Athle...ta girl crewneck sweatshirt and this is the adult version, but a little heavier. I chose size xs, my usual, true to size fits my girls nicely ( 32DD). So so glad I made this purchase. I was deciding since summer is so close, but it has already become a favorite that I can piece with navy leggings, shorts, skorts, white jeans. A high quality top I feel and look great in! 🥰
It's an OK top. It seemed well made and solid, but I don't like the way it has "wings" from the waist to the arm pits. That's not flattering on me. But the main problem is I ordered it with the same color, same named fabric sweat pants, so I could have a set, but they are a very different die lot... and even the fabric is different. The sweatshirt is very heavy, thick and somewhat course. The cargo retro terry sweat pant is a darker shade in the order I received and the fabric is much lighter weight and softer. If you are purchasing the sweatshirt to wear alone, you will probably like it if you like the cut. I'm 5'4" and it goes to my waist. If you are taller, it will be more cropped.
