Much bigger than expected

I am 5'3, 110 lbs, barely B bust, 51yo. I love open cardigans but the one for women too long so I read reviews of other adult women wearing these, that they are true to size tho description says relaxed, and ordered XL based on sizing chart hoping I don't look like the Increduble Hulk in girls cloth...
