I purchased two pair of these and two of the boyshorts. I absolutely love the material, it is amazingly soft. I love the fit of these, but some may not. I would more consider these a "hipster" type, rather than a "bikini." The advantage for me, is that they do not roll down under my stomach. I am 48... and have never had a flat stomach. These stay in place and feel great. I highly recommend. They are true to size. I order a small, they fit great. I typically wear a 6p in Athleta bottoms, sometimes a 4p.
I had several pairs of one of Athleta's past styles of underwear that I loved and wore to death b/c they were so comfy and light. I bought 2 pairs of these b/c they had a similar look and I was hoping I'd have a great experience with these too. NOT the case! Even though they seem to be the right ...size, they don't grip my booty and seem to be flapping around and riding up constantly! Soooo uncomfortable as a result. I wore them to a cardio dance class and had a wedgy the whole time. I literally want to throw away both pairs since I took the tags off and and wore each pair. Literally just a waste of money. I love Athleta's clothes most of the time and love the quality, but not these
