Cute but pill and snag very easily

My child has worn these pants twice and they already have piling and snags. I am usually very happy with the quality of Athleta clothing—this one is a disappointment.

My daughter came home from school after wearing these, loved them so much but the whole backside was pilled. We hadn't even washed them yet, and she didn't like slide on concrete at school! I am sending them back asap.
