Its not too cropped, on me. The material is wonderful, its not heavy - thinner than the essential tee material. I think its the same material as the true cotton tee. It doesn't look boxy, though it is roomy. I love the sleeves - longer than the tee but not too long. I am 68 years old, 5'5.5" tall an...d weigh 100 lbs. This tee hits just at the top of my very low rise jeans. Belly shows when I lift my arms but not much.
Wish this was even 1" longer. It's quite cropped, not a typical 'conservative' crop that I've come to expect from Athleta. It works ok if you're wearing ultra high rise, but I'm 44 and not really interested in showing my tummy;) I'm 5'9" with a long torso, 140lbs, flat chest, lean/athletic body shap...e. Purchased the Medium. I really like it, but probably won't be buying more colors. I want a crop-ish tee that I can wear with high waisted jeans, etc. - something that's not ultra-high rise leggings

Nice thick 100% cotton t shirt, love that, most of athleta stuff has synthetics in it. It's pretty cropped however. I usually wear a medium or large, but ended up with an extra large. I like it, oversized fit.

I purchased three, and enjoyed wearing them once. After one wash and dry, on low as instructed, they are now ill fitting t-shirts and not suitable for working out. I'm really disappointed in the quality and feel like I just flush money down the drain. it sucks because I really like Athleta but now I'm rethinking where I spend my money.

I bought the shirt in aqua to match the running shorts—more for a cute outfit to wear around the house—and even as pj's because I don't wear shorts less than 7-8" in public. I'm 5'10 1/2" and nearly 58 years old and I don't feel comfortable showing my thighs. The shirt is cropped and fits slimmer than I thought it would. I usually wear a small, or a small tall if it is available in tops, bottoms, dresses, etc. This shirt is cute and soft—and flattering. I wouldn't have minded if it were just a tad longer…but fantastic clearance price for the top and the shorts!
