I bought these for running, and they are not great. There's a lot of fabric, and the wide waistband is just too much coverage. It makes you hot. I found myself folding it down.

I really wanted to love these shorts. Everything fits fine but the back leg opening, right under your tush, sticks out way far away from your body. It looks so weird. The mid rise isnt as bad but still does it. The high rise, however, sticks out really bad. Its just a design flaw I guess.

Love the fit and comfort of these. I typically struggle finding shorts that fit both, in my legs and waist. I was able to keep my normal size medium. Athleta needs to make more colors!

These shorts are super cute on and I love the orange/red color. However they are not great for walking running because they just bunch up in the crotch area. I will wear them around the house but will not use them for much more.

What happened with these??? I have an old pair of high rise running shorts and they're amazing! Same big thick waistband I love, but these have a parachute of material. I got size small!! But enough fabric for an XXL! Super baggy and just an unreal amount of xtra fabric! They'd have been so cute in the red if they weren't made so xtra. Maybe they work on a curvy body, I am not so they look ridiculous. For reference I'm 6'1 143 lbs. my normal size is tall small in pants. Small in shorts. Got these in small reg. Crazy disappointment.
