Great fit, poor quality liner

I loved these shorts from the minute I put them on, however, the liner panty is made of fabric similar to pantyhose. On the 3rd wearing I had a hole. Too delicate.

I really like these shorts. They're stylish, comfortable and with thoughtful details for runners, like loops on the back waistband and a small pocket for a key or energy gel. I wish there were one more pocket somewhere but not taking off any points for that, sometimes too many pockets makes for a sloppy feel or droopy shorts. The only downside is they're not true to size- they seem to be bigger than they should be around the waste/ hips, but I kept them because a little too loose doesn't bother me.

Love these shorts. I've been buying them for probably 5 or 6 years now and have them in 4 colors. They're comfy and I like that you can fit a phone in the side pocket. I'm giving them 4 stars instead of 5 because the older models had a lower waist which I find more comfortable. I wish they'd bring back a low-rise option.

I don't know what theyve done to my favorite shorts but theaw are not the same shorts i have loved for years. I am currently out for a walk in a pair from 7ish years ago. they are a size small and fit great. this morning my new ones arrived in a M as i have gained a little weight in this perimenopause season of lfe. They are TIGHT in the waist. Far more snug than the smalls i am wearing at the moment. FIX IT ATHLETA. Stop trying to be Lulu and get back to being the quality and sizing we can trust.
