i really wanted to like these since the 4" inseam is exactly what i was looking for, not too short or too long. but the sizing just didn't quite work out for me. in leggings and bike shorts i normally wear a small or medium depending on compression, so i went with a medium here. it fit fine (if not slightly tight) in the thighs but the waist was too big even with the drawstring pulled tightly. there's no way a small would work unless i wanted my thighs to look like sausage casings, so if you have bigger thighs, i'd say to avoid this style. #sweepstakes

This short is so cute! I love the mint color. I would recommend sizing up. I'm usually a small in athleta bottoms, but I have a size small in the pacesetter leggings, and those are way too tight. I sized up to a medium in these shorts and I'm so glad I did! They're perfect #sweepstakes

Lots of compresssion but not comfortable. The fabric is wrong, it isn't 4 way stretch enough. I was so excited that Athleta had these but they are terrible compared to other competitors shortie bike shorts.
