I love the soft material, how supportive yet comfortable this style is, & how it adequately covers the areas in front of/under the armpits. It's not restrictive, but covers nicely & makes me feel good when wearing! I purchased a large & it fits perfectly after machine wash & drying. So far it's h...eld up nicely. I have a couple colors of this style & use them in place of a traditional bra, for sleeping, gym workouts, & power walking. So basically all of the time! I'd likely try a medium, & hang it to dry, for anything higher impact. I'm 5'1", 135 pounds, 34 C, muscular. I love this style & will purchase more colors when I can get them on sale but definitely cannot justify paying the full price.
I bought 3 of these bras based on glowing reviews from New York Times' Wire Cutter and other customers. They were made with high-quality fabric. They were thicker than I had expected, but that wasn't the problem. My underbust (bra band area, below the bustline) is lower than most women, so when I pu...rchase a bra, I always extend the shoulder straps as far as they can go. My current athletic bras all have shoulder strap adjusters. These Athleta bras do NOT. The first (and the last) time I wore one, I went for a ten-mile speed-walk. I normally walk 50 miles a week. The shoulder straps were so tight that I felt like I was walking with a 30-pound backpack. My shoulders got too tired by 5 miles. I ended up pulling my arms out of the shoulder straps which made the bra basically strapless. Because I am barely size A, the bra stayed in place, so that was good. Also, I sweat a lot. The bra didn't do much for wicking and drying the sweat while wearing it. When I took it off after my walk, it was at least 4x its dry weight. So the weight on my shoulders got more intense as I was walking and sweating. I returned the two that were still in bags. Lesson learned: never buy bras based on reviews alone. For someone like me, make sure the bra has shoulder-strap length adjusters.

This is a nice bra, but the sizing is a little tight in the band. I ordered per the size chart. Good support but not the most comfortable bra I own.

I like the simplicity of the back of this bra - no fancy spaghetti straps or anything like that. I LOVE the fabric. It's soft and silky. It is so comfortable that I often wear this instead of my regular bra.

I love this sports bra so much. It is so soft and comfortable, yet completely supportive when I run. Also the colors are fantastic! Really vivid and beautiful. I only wear sports bras when working out but this one is so comfortable sometimes I'm tempted to wear it just because. I'm about a 36B and a L fits perfectly.

Reviewed at
athleta.gapcanada.caIf the designers think this bra is going to replace the flex spacer, they are very mistaken. This shows too much cleavage it rides up and it doesn't have the same overall coverage. Bring back the flex spacer in more colours, please in DD.

The fit is fine, but I have a larger bust, so this doesn't quite keep them contained as much as I'd like.
