I previously ordered a similar jacket from Athleta in medium but it was quite large, so I returned it for a Small, which was still too large, so I returned it for an extra-small, but it just didn't fit right. Therefore, I was delighted to see the Salutation Crop Jacket, especially because I am short...-waisted and a shorter jacket looks better on me. I ordered it in a small petite, based on my prior order, but the Salutation Crop Jacket is much much too narrow in the bodice, though the arms fit fine. I am returning it and would like to order a larger size, but I don't know if I should go with a medium or a large...

I have several non-cropped Salutation jackets, in XXS and XS. I ordered Raphanus pink in XS in this cropped version, but it is too tight in the shoulders and arms so will return. I would exchange for a S but I don't care for the color with my skin. It's more of a pepto pink than I care for - it seem...s to be somewhat softer-colored in the pics online. I also prefer the non-pieced neckline of the earlier Salutation jackets. Not sure why they went away from that. I like the crop length on this jacket and would buy one in a different color, sizing up, but I'm not keen on the colors currently available.

This jacket is lovely in punch color and is well made. Love the material. However, you should believe other reviewers who commented it runs small. I am normally a small or extra small in similar styled Athleta jackets — including the Salutation cropped with contrast piping and the Salutation ribbed 2.0 — but would have needed to size up to a medium or large for this to be comfortable. For reference, I'm 5'9", 112 lbs with shorter waist and boyish build. Sadly, they were sold out in larger sizes.

Love the salutation jackets. I have both cropped and regular length. I size up one size, as they are fitted. Wash great, I hang to dry. Colors do not fade.

This jacket is amazing. It's not too cropped. I usually wear a XS or S, and sized up to a M for the perfect fit. I can wear a cropped close fitting shirt underneath and it's not skin tight but still skims my body nicely.

Shorter version of the classic jacket. I'm 5'2 and 108 and this jacket fits me best in a small. Sleeves are a little long and still snug but ok for tank or light shirt underneath. I love the color blue/gray.

The color is bright and vibrant and the fabric is so soft. I followed other reviews recommendations and sized up. I'm a straight medium, 34C, size 8 and got a large. The large fits snugly and smooth. I took off one star because of the crop in the back being so short. Even when standing, unless I have on really high waisted leggings, I have skin showing. The front doesn't do this, so it's kinda weird. I still love the color and feel and will wear it.
