I previously ordered a similar jacket from Athleta in medium but it was quite large, so I returned it for a Small, which was still too large, so I returned it for an extra-small, but it just didn't fit right. Therefore, I was delighted to see the Salutation Crop Jacket, especially because I am short...-waisted and a shorter jacket looks better on me. I ordered it in a small petite, based on my prior order, but the Salutation Crop Jacket is much much too narrow in the bodice, though the arms fit fine. I am returning it and would like to order a larger size, but I don't know if I should go with a medium or a large...

I have several non-cropped Salutation jackets, in XXS and XS. I ordered Raphanus pink in XS in this cropped version, but it is too tight in the shoulders and arms so will return. I would exchange for a S but I don't care for the color with my skin. It's more of a pepto pink than I care for - it seem...s to be somewhat softer-colored in the pics online. I also prefer the non-pieced neckline of the earlier Salutation jackets. Not sure why they went away from that. I like the crop length on this jacket and would buy one in a different color, sizing up, but I'm not keen on the colors currently available.

All in all a solid piece - I like the added touch of the pop stitch on the black jacket. Wish they had also done a truffle color to match the truffle pop stitch leggings! Liked it enough I also picked it up in the eucalyptus color, which photographed badly online but is actually a dusky pistachio color in real life that I found flattering on my medium/olive skin tone.
