The fabric is mostly modal so it feels soft to brush your hand on it. But the fabric also has an odd stiffness to it, and this stiffness varies by color. These tees are some of my favorite! I own several of them and always buy one or two of the new colors they come out with. They are so cute and comfortable and pair really well with all Athleta pants. I do buy these in a size regular small since they are slightly cropped. I am normally an extra small but I don't want this top to fit me too tight. For reference I am 5'3", 115 lbs.
